Intel Extreme Masters Format
Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 plays in three stages of Play-In, Group Stage and Playoffs.
Play-In: is from 31 January to 1 February 2023. There are 24 team play in double elimination bracket. The opening matches are Bo1. After matches are Bo3. The top 16 teams advance to the Group Stage Upper Bracket. The bottom 8 teams advance to Group stage lower bracket.
Group Stage: This stage is from 2 February to 5 February 2023. This is two double-elimination format (GSL) groups. The 24 teams from Play-In are slipt in to two group. Each group has upper Bracket and Lower Bracket.
